Vaujany accommodation: hotels, apartments & chalets
The village centre or the hamlets below: where to stay in Vaujany, and the hotel, residences, chalets and B&Bs the tourist office lists.

Where to stay in Vaujany
Vaujany accommodation is mostly apartments in residences and chalets to rent, with one hotel in the centre. The tourist office counts more than 3,500 tourist beds in a village of about 350 residents, and lists them as a hotel, residences, private rentals, bed and breakfasts, rental agencies and a campervan park.
The choice is mainly about where. The village centre has the Alpette cable car, the ESF, the shops and the Sports and Leisure Centre, linked by escalators. The hamlets below, such as La Villette, are quieter, and La Villette has its own gondola up to Montfrais.
In the village centre
Stay here to walk to the cable car. Several residences give their distance to the lifts or the escalators in their listings, and the ESF meets at the cable car station.
Below the village
Some chalets and B&Bs are in the small villages below Vaujany, away from the escalators and the cable car.
Vaujany hotels
The tourist office lists one hotel in the village:

- Hôtel Les Cimes, at 466 route du Col du Sabot, in the centre, close to the restaurants, shops and cable car. It has a restaurant and bar, family rooms, baby equipment and a covered car park, and offers half and full board. It opens all year.
For a group, Centre Le Flumet takes children's groups, school trips and adults all year, full board, in 19 rooms of two to six beds above the Lac du Verney, with free shuttles to the resort.
Vaujany apartments
The residences the tourist office lists include:
- Les Balcons de Vaujany, in the village centre, which says it is 50 m from the ski lifts and the start of ESF lessons. It has six apartments for four to ten people, each with a south-facing balcony, plus a sauna and free underground parking.
- Goélia Résidence Le Crystal, at 52 route du Rochas, about 400 m from the Vaujany–La Villette gondola and 600 m from the Alpette cable car, both reached by the escalators. It has apartments for four to six, a heated indoor pool and a fitness room, and is closed until 12 December 2026.
- Terrésens Les Edelweiss, with two- to four-room flats facing south, a wellness area with a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, ski lockers and underground parking. It is closed until 30 November 2026.
- Résidence Les Valmonts de Vaujany, at 53 route du Rochas in the upper village, run by its co-owners, a few steps from the escalator to the cable car, with a sauna and steam room.
The tourist office's residence listings cover the rest.
Vaujany chalets
Chalets are let by their owners. Among them, both listed as open all year:

- Chalet Regulus, a newly built chalet for up to ten with five bedrooms, an infrared cabin and a south-facing terrace, within walking distance of the cable car.
- The Vaujany Mountain Lodge, a 170 m² chalet for ten with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, in one of the small villages just below Vaujany.
Chalet Solneige is a catered chalet: in winter it lets rooms half board, normally by the week from Saturday to Saturday, and in the rest of the year it works as a B&B. Chambres d'hôtes Passoud has five rooms for two to four near Vaujany, with meals at its inn, from mid-May to the start of November.
The tourist office's private rentals cover the rest.
Staying with children
Vaujany holds the Famille Plus label. The municipal Multi-Accueil takes children from six months to four years, and the children's club takes three- to 11-year-olds in winter, Monday to Friday, with hours that can be fitted around ESF lessons. The ESF's Club Piou Piou starts at three, on a beginners' area on the Montfrais plateau.
For a family, a residence in the centre keeps the cable car, the children's centre and the pool within reach on foot. Les Balcons de Vaujany's listing makes that point itself: no car journeys.
The Vaujany guide covers lift passes, ski lessons and the ski area.
Getting around from where you stay
Free shuttle buses run in the village, and escalators link the residences to the cable car. The campervan park on the route des Combes has ten places with water, drainage and electricity, near the Sports and Leisure Centre and the lift up to the ski lifts. It opens all year and is paid by card at the entrance.
