Saint-Martin-de-Belleville accommodation: hotels, chalets & apartments
Which part of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville to stay in, and the hotels, chalet companies, apartment agencies and mountain refuges the tourist office lists.

Saint-Martin-de-Belleville accommodation runs from four hotels to catered chalets, apartments, a residence and mountain refuges. The village sits at 1,450 m, and the lifts into Les 3 Vallées leave from the centre and from the Grangeraies district, so where you stay decides whether you walk to the snow or take the bus.
Which part of the village to stay in
The tourist office divides the village into five districts: the village centre, Les Grangeraies, La Villette, Villarencel and Les Places. Around them are the hamlets, 22 of them by the count of Les 3 Vallées, from Le Châtelard and Béranger to Villarabout.
The village centre
Stay here for the shops, restaurants, the church and the museum, and for the Village ski lift and the Saint-Martin 1 gondola. The 92 heated ski lockers at the bottom of the Village lift help if your apartment is further out.
Les Grangeraies
The second district with lifts of its own, and the home of the Hôtel Saint-Martin. The village sledging hill is here too.
The hamlets
Stay in a hamlet and you will rely on a car or the bus. The free green-line shuttle crosses the village and stops at Praranger, Les Granges and Saint-Marcel on its way to Les Menuires and Val Thorens; the pink line links Villarabout with the village in the morning and late afternoon. Both run every day except Saturday.
Hotels in Saint-Martin-de-Belleville
The tourist office lists four hotels:

- La Bouitte, in the hamlet of Saint-Marcel. A five-star Relais & Châteaux hotel with eight rooms and seven suites, La Bèla Vya spa, and René and Maxime Meilleur's restaurant, which holds two Michelin stars. For 2026/27 it opens from 5 December 2026 to 18 April 2027.
- Hôtel Saint-Martin, on the rue des Grangeraies at the foot of the slopes. Rooms, plus apartments for 4 to 10 people, two restaurants (Le Grenier, and Le Chalet for half board), a sauna, hammam and gym, and a games room with a mini-club in the school holidays.
- M Lodge & Spa, on the rue Georges Cumin. By its own account a five-star hotel with direct access to the slopes, 25 rooms and suites, a Valmont spa with a 16-metre pool, and private chalets with their own staff.
- Lodji, on the rue Notre Dame. A hotel that also lets apartments and chalets, with a wellness area, a restaurant and bar, and après-ski on its terraces until 6.30pm with live music or a DJ.
Chalets in Saint-Martin-de-Belleville
The tourist office lists two kinds of chalet business. Agence des Alpes, Mountain Collection, Barnes Immobilier, Cimalpes and Collection Chalet appear as agencies for chalets and apartments. Under catered chalets it lists Home by U, Chalet Floralie, Le Chalet, Mercury Alpine Chalets, Self Catered Saint-Martin and Snow Trippin. Check with each one what is included before you book.
Apartments and residences
For apartments, start with the resort's official booking service, Saint-Martin-de-Belleville Réservation. It lets you search by district and by hamlet, and sells accommodation with lift passes. Its residence listing has one entry at the time of writing: Les Chalets du Gypse, a four-star residence with a spa in the Les Places district, listed as ski-in, ski-out.

Two systems rate furnished rentals here. The national stars run from one to five. Qualité Hébergement, the Belleville valley's own label since 2003, awards one to five snowflakes against more than 100 criteria. Both are official classifications, not ours.
Mountain refuges
Four refuges are on the tourist office's list. Lac du Lou and Plan Lombardie take overnight guests:
- Lac du Lou refuge, open in winter and summer, with private rooms or dormitory beds and Savoyard meals.
- Trait d'Union refuge, open in winter and summer, with a Norwegian bath and a sauna.
- Plan Lombardie refuge, summer only, a 30 to 40-minute walk from near Saint-Jean-de-Belleville.
- Gittamelon refuge, summer only, in a small village in the Vallée des Encombres.
Staying with children
Childcare is something to book with your stay. The ESF's Club Piou-Piou takes children from 36 months to five years and needs booking at least ten days ahead. The Hôtel Saint-Martin runs its mini-club in the school holidays, and the tourist office publishes a list of local babysitters.
The full Saint-Martin-de-Belleville guide covers ski lessons by age and what else there is for families.
Getting around from where you stay
Parking in the village is free, including the Le Cochet, La Duche and Château Feuillet car parks. Near the shops there are blue zones, and the tourist office gives out the parking disc. There are two electric charging points on the Cour du Presbytère in the centre. From 1 November to 31 March, cars in Savoie must carry winter equipment.
